Right before the end of the KID_ACTIONS project, this December 2022, a second Forum will take place on 22 November 2022 in Brussels. This Forum will be a hybrid Forum, thus giving the great opportunity for stakeholders to participate onsite in Brussels or online from any place around the world and join their forces together against cyberbullying!

The nature of the Forum will be highly interactive, offering a platform where key stakeholders, such as policymakers, researchers, industry partners, practitioners, can discuss together how to prevent, detect, and respond to cyberbullying. The theme of this second policy Forum Together Against Cyberbullying with the ultimate aim to secure a safer and more empowering digital environment for children and young people, underlines this multi-stakeholder approach that has been a red line throughout the whole KID_ACTIONS project.

As this Forum is close to the end of the project (December 2022), it gives the opportunity to the project partners to present their key outcomes, findings and developed tools of the project to a bigger audience. The participants of the Forum have the opportunity to engage in interactive sessions during which they will be able to provide input and share best practices.

The Forum will start with an opening presentation to provide insights from the European Network of Safer Internet Centres, as their helplines give information, advice and assistance to children and young people on how to deal with for example cyberbullying. Furthermore, the KID_ACTIONS Digital Education Platform and Education Toolkit will be presented and will be followed by a panel discussion. In the second half of the Forum, the KID_ACTIONS policy recommendations will be presented and discussed with a panel. Finally, the participants will talk about the future of cyberbullying when the lessons learned of the KID_ACTIONS project will be shared with the audience.

Policy makers, researchers, industry partners and practitioners working or interested in the field of digital safety and cyberbullying are warmly invited to join the second Forum!
